Wow, fuck.. surfing the web I’ve noticed that there was appeared another young hidden file download site – LordZ.org (http://LordZ.org). Such a sparkling name catched my eye and I decided to visit it. I admit that I like clear and useful design. This time I was rewarded – Lordz.org has a simple, even asketic design. As it was declared on the first page it had a powerful and fast search algorithms. Well, I need to admit – it works fast and the results are relevant. Finding and downloading the needed photoshop brushes took approx. 1 minute – very good. The navigation is relative and smart – I used the rele vant searches to get more and more brushes. Well, this site is a killing startup but their owners have to add more useful features to be able to beat such monsters as Filestube, for example. Time will show.

Kvaz.com is an old Rapidshare search engine. As I can remember, it was launched 3-4 years ago. Kvaz.com changed several design models and now it is very stylish: nothing but pure results. And I need o admit, Kvaz.com has a super indexing engine – I use it regulary because the results are relevant and Kvaz has a monstrous Rapidshar e link database – over 12,400,000 real links. First I thought it’s a fake but I checked the results – Kvaz.com really offers millions of Rapidshare links.
To the point, I like FAST servers. And I can declare – Kvaz has the fastest server I ever seen. It generates the result pages in 0.002-0.01 sec approximately – that’s really fast.
Next, it has super feature – Firefox search plugin. So now I don’t have to load Kvaz.com itself – I use the installed plugin – it’s fast and doesn’t tease my eyes.So I do recommend Kvaz.com as one of the best world file search systems.

Usually I look for different Rapidshare search engines and I see how they appear and disappear… one by one. Usually practically all of them are semi-clones: the same functionality, the same design, etc. Certainly it bores. Nevertheless I like to surf these file search startups looking for sparkling pearls. And this time I have found a very interesting startup – Rapidshare searcher FilePoints.net. It’s a very young site but this time I was surprised: Filepoints.net offered a new feature – short thumbnails which were relative to the search results! And when the mouse was over a big image opened in a new window – that was very very suitable – I didn’t have to see ALL big photos as in DLE or Joomla sites – I just got the needed file and only then I saw the needed picture.

Moreover, FilePoints.net provide very relative complete results – that’s much better than all other DLE sites like freshwap.net, dl4all.net, etc.
Surely I guess that this site must improve the design but it’s not the main thing. It searches and gave me relative results – that’s super!

Here we’ll make a short review of a young startup – Rapidshare search engine Dbuf.org.

This site was launched several months ago and its goal is to share Rapidshare links using their own search engine which shows good search speed and results of a high relevancy. To the point, they have implemented relevant YouTube video results which increase the search relevancy.

Search results pages’ structure is simple and intuitive. Moreover, the search keywords are highlighted – it makes searching the needed position easy enough.
Moreover Dbuf.org has a wonderful feature: they have placed a Asker.ws help plugin in their search result pages so you may help other people answering their questions. So we may say that Dbuf.org plays a so-called positive social role.

Dbuf.org has a medium size database but as we can see it grows fast enough. And the fact that this Rapidshare search engine has no teasing banners and various popups makes it very useful and suitable.

Rapidshare AG blocks domain names containing its trademark.

Rapidshare AG started an outstanging company to shut down all the possible sites which contain a word ‘Rapidshare’ in their domain names. Hundreds domain owners received WIPO notices that similar issues are opened. And their aim is to close/transfer/shut down such domans. Surely, Rapidshare AG has all the rights and possibilities to demand it. Therefore we’ll have the possibility to see the mass domain and sites transfers very soon. Using 301 redirection, probably.

P.S. Otherwise, It seems strange enough… all these Rapidshare search sites drive huge traffic to Rapidshare AG itself… Let’s see what will be the next.
